"Not asking for it" Pilgrim flask

Hand built and hand painted Pilgrim flask.

Painting of Suzanna and the Elders by Feminist Icon Artemisia Gentileschi, this is a piece that encourages discussion and was made as as part of my research for a forthcoming exhibition.

Made from a high fire stoneware clay and finished with a transparent glaze. This flask is watertight and will hold flowers should you wish to use it as a vase.

Bottom is finished with a soft velvety material so as not to mark any wooden surface.
